Dylan Hippner
At just 12 years old, Dylan Hippner was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes—a life-changing moment that came with a harsh reality: doctors told him continuing to play football might not be possible. But Dylan’s determination knew no limits. Defying the odds, he went on to play Division I football as a middle linebacker at Stony Brook University, graduating in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
After college, Dylan began building a successful career in finance, working at Chase and JP Morgan. He passed rigorous exams, including the Series 7, 65, and multiple insurance certifications, establishing himself in a demanding field. Yet, despite his achievements, he felt something was missing.
Dylan knew there was more for him—a greater purpose inspired by the strength he had developed while battling his disease. In a bold leap of faith, he left his 9-to-5 job to pursue his dream. That’s when The Artist Komodo was born.
